The Polish network for digital assets.
One standard on which banks, brokerages and payment institutions issue their own tokens, serve their own clients and keep their own brand.
Why now
The market is ready. The infrastructure is not there.
of Polish adults hold digital assets. Highest in the EU: 2.8 million holders, around PLN 40 billion.
of the largest European banks already offer digital assets to their clients.
brokerage accounts in Poland. 85% inactive, waiting for a product.
The first zloty stablecoin was issued in the Netherlands, not in Poland.
Poland has everything it takes to build next-generation financial infrastructure. Except one thing: nobody has built it yet.
How it works
Three steps. One network.
The bank issues.
A bond, a share, a fund or a PLN token. On its own licence, without a new one.
The network settles.
Asset against money in one transaction, instant finality, 24/7. The client verified once, via mObywatel.
The client uses it.
In their own bank app, under the bank brand. From PLN 100. A person, a company or an AI agent.
Five layers
Identity, money, assets, payments, interoperability.
Identity
mObywatel, the Polish state digital ID, as the source of truth. The client verifies once and reuses that verification at every institution on the network. Zero-knowledge proofs without disclosing the national ID number.
Money
PLT, a zloty stablecoin backed 1:1, is already live and is the first money on the network. Any bank can issue its own e-money token on its own licence, by notification to the regulator (Art. 60 MiCA). Several stablecoins, one standard.
Assets
Bonds, shares, funds and real estate as tokens. Issuance, trading, settlement and redemption on one ledger. Atomic settlement. KDPW as the depository.
Payments
A client, a company and an AI agent pay with the same standard. Escrow, cash pooling and trade finance as smart contracts. AI mandates (AP2) as verifiable credentials.
Interoperability
Bridges to Cardano, Ethereum and Canton. A Polish institution settles with global networks without leaving Polish jurisdiction.
Network money
The first money on the network already exists. It is called PLT.
PLT is a zloty stablecoin backed 1:1 in PLN, MiCA-compliant and issued under an electronic money institution licence. Banach does not wait for settlement money. It has it from day one.
- Backing
- 1:1 in zloty, reserves held at regulated financial institutions, monthly independent attestations.
- Regulation
- MiCA-compliant. Issuer licensed as an electronic money institution (EMI). Distributor: Fizen.
- Networks
- Available on Cardano, Ethereum, Polygon and Solana. On Banach as the native settlement token.
- Role on Banach
- DvP settlement for tokenised assets, B2B payments, payouts to AI agents. Banks add their own e-money tokens in the same standard.
Model
Like BLIK, for digital assets.
Founders
3-5 institutions. Equity in the operator, a board seat, veto rights, priority access and a share of revenue from those who join later.
Operator
Polska Tokenizacja S.A. Builds, runs and develops the network. Neutral towards participants. Responsible for technology, security and compliance.
Regulator
The Polish FSA (KNF) and the central bank (NBP) at the table from day one. A network built for Polish law and Polish supervision.
Six firsts
What will be built on the network.
- The first Polish tokenised bond2027
- The first Polish bank-issued stablecoin, issued from Warsaw2027
- The first Polish reusable identity on mObywatel2027
- The first Polish payment standard for AI agents2027
- The first Polish consortium network for digital assets2027
- The first Polish network connected to global ones2028
Regulation is ready
We are not waiting for new law.
- MiCA is in force. A bank issues an e-money token by notification (Art. 60 MiCA).
- A tokenised security is a financial instrument under MiFID II, with no new licence required.
- The Polish Commercial Companies Code (Art. 328(1)) allows a shareholder register to be kept on a blockchain.
Banach Network will be built. The question is who will be a founder and who will join later.
Founders define the standard. They hold equity, a vote and priority. Those who join later use a standard someone else set.
